Heart Fail
one of my favorite things on the internet is the lolcat phenomenon, in which adorable pictures of kitties (or other animals) are photoshopped with a caption with terrible english grammar. this comic reminded me of a similar genre of animal + caption called faildogs. these are pictures of puppies/dogs failing at whatever it is they do in life. englishfail is pretty funny as well. although, i am also guilty of putting apostrophes where they don't belong.

Don't Bring That Up
If any of you desire a sure fire method of making me cry, then you'll bring up the topic of stephie moving out of the castle and into that sorority. Now, I'll admit that anything ranging from Oprah to Elf will make me cry so I'm not so sure how sweet your victory over my dignity will be. That ball with spiky hair in the corner is Caleb, and he has yet to figure out what kinds of things are okay to joke about and what kinds of things are so off-limit that I've repressed those feelings to the innermost places in my mind. I think it's funny now to laugh about, but I didn't want him to think he could get a laugh out of that one easily. He learned his lesson.

I Don't Drink Coffee Anymore.
I thought that color would be a nice touch to the comic today. I spent too much time tracing the heart from a biology website. Half way through I got lazy and left out some chambers and arteries and stuff. Whatever, it gets smashed.
Edit:
@%#$^$%^&%*%$*@#$@!*&(@#$#^%&*@#.
But Other Than That, We Get Along Great...
Read comic first!
Following my sister to college was just about the greatest idea I've ever had. I went to her fellowship. I followed her around for places to eat. I sometimes sat in her classes. Eventually, I realized that I wasn't doing enough things on my own and a big part of me growing up is to feel more secure with myself. This self-imposed distance actually took its own turn for the worse when we started fighting a lot and I enjoyed being independent a little too much. I learned a lot from this, but it's too late too apologize now and go back in time to spend more time with her during college. But luckily, my steakhouse is doing really well in the Zagat ratings, so I'm glad for it.
Just Kidding.

It's an Endless Battle Against Tangles
For this comic, I was searching through the internet to find funner fonts for the dialog. There were some funny ones like "i hate comic sans" and "indie star" (don't really know what that one means). But I just ended up copying the font from Una's comix. I think it's called "comic book." Fascinating.
I spent this weekend and home trying to write my personal statement for med school. Thus this comic was created in another amazing feat of procrastination. I'm feeling very on the fence about med school. Like literally, sitting on the fence (right Lisa?) I really just need to get over the desire to work at a Peet's coffee and be a barista for the rest of my adult life. But it sounds so fun!
Finally, when Chris visited Berkeley a few months ago, I found out he used conditioner and it was really weird because his hair is short. It's a normal boy length, but it's just pretty clear that he doesn't actually deal with the hair trauma most girls go through. Maybe he used to. And now he just really likes the way it makes his hair feel afterward. And who can argue with that?

Tell Me a Story
One of my favorite things to do is to reminesce and tell funny stories to my friends or have them tell me their funny stories. Sometimes I get hilarious stories of classroom awkwardness. Sometimes I get funny stories about parents buying music off iTunes for the first time. So, if you know me, I like to laugh. Even at things I've already laughed at, over and over again.
I'm sorry if it sometimes seems like I'm laughing at you. I'm really just laughing next to you. Probably about that time we were volunteering at the senior center on bingo night and Cindy accidentally called out "bingo!" when she was selling tickets.

Love is = ?
back in high school, i did a lot of dumb things. the kind that you can't think back on without cringing or wanting to smack me in the head (you all did as well! i know it!). when i got to college, surprise, this trend continued and i did more things like getting kicked out of switchfoot concerts and denting cars. usually in the same day. it baffled me how much grace i felt from my parents regarding these things. they'd look at me as i'd pathetically cry, "i only want to make you proud of me!" and say things like, "i am proud of you! but you're not allowed to hang out with abraham anymore!"
ahh. so those were the days. i talked about it with rachel and una once. rachel's the horse, btdubs. she's the only one in color bc she has red hair-ish and i was trying to personalize the character. otherwise the only thing i'd be able to justify her character with is that she likes animals. my only regret is that horsies take forever to draw. hooray for flash! (it's my first time guys! lo esta mia primera vez).
well, it appears as though rachel the two-legged horse is too creepy to exist on the internet. and so i had to add all these extra legs to appease the people. (jerkface chris!) it was my first time!@#$!

Dreams Last 4 So Long... Even After You're Gone
Steph has really weird dreams. Well, not that weird, but I've personally never dreamt of getting married. I think she has those dreams all the time. So I was kind of thinking of the Harold and Kumar scene, where Kumar sees the giant bag of weed and has a pessimistically realistic daydream of what it would be like if he married the bag of weed. Anyway, I think it's just a beautiful part of life. Dream on!
This Happens Every Day
i spend a lot of time with stephanie just sitting somewhere on campus talking about the different foods i like or the new comics i'm reading. she likes to talk about the oc and portland. so i like to wonder what would happen if one of these days, her dream guy came up to her and asked for the time. i don't like to matchmake my friends (awkward!!!) but with steph, it's gotten to the point where i really really am looking forward to her hopping onto that train of love. she really likes coffee, hence the coffee mug, so half-and-half just makes sense, right?

Drumline diaries
I will try to be brief from now on because that took way too long to vectorize! Lesson learned, Adobe.
Mr. Cloyd is awesome at just about anything. He plays soccer and other sports. He was probably one of those smart students that we were all jealous of. He knows how to play every instrument there is. Everyone likes him. He even knows some Japanese (so random)! So, I have to wonder what part of his head was bumped or injured as a child that he can't remember our names.
I feel like I should write more so that the text wrap-around that Blogger.com forces upon this entry doesn't look as weird. Hmm... (awkward silence)
Uh, so... how are you?

Puppy Looks
Young Asian people in general look young. It's a nice complement if you're 40 and someone thinks you're 35, but if you're 22 and someone asks you if you go to the high school nearby, I consider it an insult. So I sympathize with Sista... although she has the added burden of people thinking she's cute and puppy-like.
This is my favorite comic.
