The No Donnas Club

Nothing much new going on with me lately. I lost my voice 3 days ago, something that has never happened before, and now that it's happened to me, I swear I'm never making fun of my friends again when they lose theirs. I'm a changed person!

I've been going through season 3 of Buffy, and before anyone gets me started, I just want to say how exciting it is, and we're coming up on the Buffy Christmas episode!

Also, I love the National. Everyone should listen to them.

I Thought You Knew Me

I got to see Kung Fu Panda on Friday with my brother and Chris. I was pretty whateverish to the idea of a panda knowing kung fu, but let me tell you. After that movie, I was a changed person. Well, you know. I just mean it was a good movie. You should all go see it!

I'm also really excited for another movie coming out soon. The one about Mammas. and Mias. and Abbas.

Livin' Large

I'm starting to hate the airport less. I just wish I could sleep.

Staying with my sister was fun. Though, it looks like she lives in a broke down house and everything needs to be replaced. I'm going to write a letter to Jim Wallis:

Dear J-Dub,

Why you let yo' interns live in squalor?

Donna

I've also started talking like my sister. Skipping helper verbs and cussing like a sailor.

To-Do Lists

Making lists is very important in maintaining one's sanity when life gets pretty crazy. I never used to do it in high school, but in college I started to make them so that I could feel more important. Paul Farmer (my hero) likes to make lists so that when he finishes each task he can check off each box and say "We sure are getting a lot done!" Also you can tell a lot about a person by his/her to-do list. (See Stephie's to-do list for example).

A friend of Una and mine, Sara, in high school used to make to-do lists. One time in math, Una stole Sara's list and wrote "Kill Donna" on it secretly. Then when Sara was reading her list later on, she exclaimed "Kill Donna?!" and Una laughed and laughed. Then Sara spiked my water with arsenic, and I died instantly. After that, Una realized the horrible thing she had done, because I haunted her for the rest of her life. Don't mess with to-do lists.

(Con)grats...

I'm finally posting a new comic! Thanks Chris for keeping it alive during these difficult times. I'm pretty much settled in my room, ready for prime cuddleboobing. You know.

I had never really thought of putting Joey in a comic so early until he asked a few days ago. I was hesitant at first, and asked, "Well, what would your character look like?" He got really excited and said "9 Dragons!" It's perfect, right?

Also: I'm missing some key artists from my music library: Magnetic Fields, The Shins, Wilco, The Cars, and others. Can anyone help me out?

Cuddleboobs @ Church

Donna took Una and I to Maria Bo's church today, and needless to say it was a lot of fun to have the core Cuddleboobs team sitting side by side on this Sunday morning. Una has iPhone fever, and had great difficulty thinking of anything else. Also, guitars. When Maria walked by at the end of the service and saw as sitting together, she exclaimed "Cuddleboobs!" and it made me really happy :)

This is only my second post, but I'm making a sincere effort to do this more often. Long live Cuddleboobs!
