The Disney Half-Marathon: Heat Delusions

I was actually having delusions about this weeks before the race itself.

We got Hugh Jass medals! And I am so wearing the Psych shirt they gave away at Comic-Con.

Wednesday Mornings

I get angry pretty easily, especially at home. Oh, and that's supposed to be my Dad. Joey wanted me to change the hat on his character. I don't know if I like it yet.

Maybe That's What You Kids Are Calling It These Days

It's a digital antenna, okay?! Let's face it, without the rabbit ears, I was worried that it wouldn't look like a TV. Also I was worried that you people would think it was another character. Well, maybe it is. Let's all welcome TV to the Cuddleboobs family.

My thoughts usually end up very far from where I was going.

It's Like He's Speaking Another Language

I'm in LA, TRICK!

In the Bay Area, they changed that line from "I'm in Miami, Trick!" to "I'm in the bay, Trick!" Until I came down here, I could never understand what he was saying until I heard them sing it here, differently. Every time he sang that line, I thought he was saying "I'm in the MATRIX!"

Which would be a completely different experience.

I'm Taking A Poll

It's been too long! I am sorry that I am keeping so many hilarious events from you all. I hope you forgive me.

Don't Want To Wake Up

This is kind of a lazy comic, but meh.

I've been reading Saturday Morning Breakfast Cartoons lately, and I thought of a couple ideas they should use. The first one involves the fortune cookie joke gone wrong, and the second one is about a golden retriever that tries to retrieve love. Maybe I should make them and then sell them for a fabulous price!

You Need a Map!

Una is also secretly thinking, "I'm an animal..." To which I say, "Yes, but not a ZOO animal, which is what I clearly meant as a distinguishing factor."

And I don't want Maria's brother to come with us to get candy because I hate him. Just kidding. I love all the Bo's equally.

Sorry I haven't updated in a month. I've been working on my mini-comic for cartoonery school. Look forward to it. You can even hold your breath.

A Special Surprise

I'm guesting!

To explain what that actually means, I made a comic for this site called The Mighty Bu which is run by a fellow comicist named Dave who lives in Portland. Anyway, all of you should check it out and support us with your love. Here's the link.

More Joey Drawings

My first question: Why are they thought bubbles instead of speech bubbles? And then: Why does he know what the other person is thinking? Can they tell just by looking at each other's faces? Each question leads to more questions. Such is life.

I scanned pictures Joey drew that he wanted to put up here. He told me to take out the "weird hands/claws" from the second picture. I didn't listen to him, of course, because I liked them.

Found this comic making tool on the web. It's neat, though I can't say it's quite as fulfilling.

Cuddle me!

Monday, February 2, 2009

Omg, it's February!

This conversation was in reference to this XKCD that I didn't understand, but Una loved wholeheartedly because she gives mice diabetes. But I get it now. And it is funny.

Metaphorical Mazes

I was having a conversation about this with Una, and the Craig Thompson lover inside of me was begging to have it translated into a drawing. Unfortunately, I only know how to depict these themes in really obvious metaphors. Perhaps you will appreciate the hours I spent on the shading. =]

They Look So Real...

Time for my monthly post... Just kidding. More to come.
